Audio and AV Solutions for Retail Outlets & Restaurants
Sound that fits your brand, speech that is heard, screens that sell and a network that stays up. We design, install and support audio and AV for single outlets and national rollouts, with our own team, outlet after outlet.

What We Provide for Retail Outlets & Restaurants
One team for everything that makes an outlet sound, look and run well, from the first layout to long-term support.
Background Music and Zoning
The right music at the right level keeps people comfortable and fits your brand. The wrong level, loud at one table and lost at the next, does the opposite.
Even Coverage, Not Loud Spots
Good background music comes from several well-placed speakers at low volume, not one loud speaker. We plan speaker positions around your seating, counters and fixtures, using ceiling speakers or wall-bracket speakers to suit the space, and balance them so sound is even across the room.
Zones for Different Areas
A zone is an area with its own volume. Typical zones in an outlet:
- Dining or Shop Floor: the main atmosphere, set to suit your brand.
- Counter or Billing Area: a level that still lets staff and customers talk.
- Outdoor or Entrance Seating: its own level against street noise.
- Back of House: so staff can hear announcements or music at their own level.
Volume for each zone can be set separately, with simple wall controls where staff need them.

Sized to the Space. Not every outlet needs a large system. Our Bandra burger restaurant project uses four speakers and one Bluetooth amplifier to cover the dining area evenly, simply and on budget.
What Goes Into a Good Design
- Speaker Choice: ceiling, wall-bracket or outdoor-rated speakers, chosen for the room and its finishes.
- Amplification: sized for the number of speakers and zones, from a compact Bluetooth amplifier to a rack amplifier.
- Sources: a phone or tablet over Bluetooth for a small outlet, or a dedicated source and playlist set up for chains.
- Cabling: proper speaker cable run neatly and tested, so nothing hums or drops out.
Paging and Announcements
When a retail outlet opens, closes or runs an offer, the message has to be heard. A PA (public address) system does that, and the same speakers can carry music in between.
PA Systems Built Around Your Format
Retail formats are laid out differently: a small outlet in a high street, a large format in a mall and a flagship need different speaker counts and positions. For every outlet we prepare a format-specific PA layout and bill of quantities, so each one is designed for how that outlet is built.
- Ceiling Speakers: spread across the sales floor, set into or fixed to the ceiling alongside lighting and AC.
- Amplification: placed where staff can reach it and cabled neatly.
- Clear Announcements: opening and closing messages, offers and staff calls, heard evenly across the floor.
- Music and Paging Together: one set of speakers for both, with the right level for each.
Since September 2019 we have installed PA systems in 1,019 Reliance Retail Outlets across 26 states and UTs, in 16 retail formats.

Video Walls and Digital Signage
Screens catch the eye before the audio does. We help you plan displays that show your menu, offers and brand content, and wire them in with the rest of the outlet.
Retail Outlets
Promotional screens at the entrance, display walls on the shop floor and video walls for brand content, planned around fixtures and lighting so they are visible without glare.
Restaurants and Cafés
Menu screens at the counter, promotional screens for offers and display screens in the dining area, planned to suit your interior.
What We Plan
- Screen Size and Position: viewing distance, height and glare checked for the space.
- Mounting and Cabling: neat mounts and concealed cabling for a clean finish.
- Content Playback: a way for your team to update content, set up with you.
- Audio and Network: screens connected to your sound and your network, so the whole outlet works together.
Tell us what you want to show and where. We will advise on what suits your space.
Acoustics for Dining Rooms & Showrooms
Brick, glass, tile and hard ceilings look good and sound loud. In a busy restaurant, noise makes guests raise their voices, which makes the room louder still.
Treat the Room, Not Just the Speakers
Turning the music up does not fix an echoey room. Acoustic treatment absorbs the reflections that make a room noisy, so people can talk comfortably and music can sit at a lower level.
- Ceiling Absorbers: clouds and baffles over the busiest areas.
- Wall Panels: absorbing panels that double as a design feature.
- Soft Finishes: advice on materials, curtains and upholstery that help.
- Speaker Placement: more speakers at lower volume for gentle, even sound.
We are a Dealer for Vicoustic acoustic products, and we work with your interior designer so treatment suits your look. We tell you honestly what treatment can and cannot do for a given room.

Conferencing for Head Offices & Back Offices
Retail and restaurant businesses run on meetings between head office, regional teams and outlets. We build the rooms for it.
Boardrooms and Meeting Rooms
Video conferencing built on Poly, with cameras, microphones and speakers placed for the room, and Crestron control so the display, audio and video call run from a single touch panel. Anyone can walk in and start a meeting.
- Recent Project: a corporate boardroom in Parel with a Poly Studio G7500 codec, three table microphones and a Poly TC8 touch controller, plus two meeting rooms with Poly Studio R30 video bars.
- Try It First: our Seawoods Experience Center has a working smart conference room.

Control That Staff Can Use
An outlet team is busy. Controls should be obvious, and the system should behave the same way in every outlet.
Simple Wall Controls
A volume control for each zone, in a place staff can reach, so the level can be turned up for a busy afternoon and down for a quiet evening.
Touch Panels Where Needed
In conference rooms and larger installations, a touch panel runs the display, audio and call from one place.
Same Experience in Every Outlet
For chains, we set up every outlet the same way, so staff moving between outlets find the same controls.
Handover and Training
We show your team how to use the system at handover, so nobody is guessing on opening day.
Networking and Wi-Fi for Outlets
Screens, cameras and conferencing all rely on the network. We design it together with the AV, so it works as one system.
Business Wi-Fi
Managed Wi-Fi and wired networks built on Ubiquiti, sized for your outlet.
Separate Guest Wi-Fi
Visitors get Wi-Fi without touching your main network.
Support for Cameras
A network designed so security cameras stay online. See our smart security solutions.
One Team
The same team designs your audio, AV and network, so there is one place to call.

Installation, Rollout & Annual Maintenance
Designing a system is half the job. The other half is getting it installed on time, the same way, in every outlet.
How We Roll Out, Outlet After Outlet
This is the process we use for our Reliance Retail Outlets work, and we bring the same discipline to every client.

Frequently Asked Questions About Retail & F&B Solutions
What Audio Do Retail Outlets Need?
Most retail outlets need clear, even sound across the whole shop floor: background music, and a PA system for announcements. We prepare a layout for your format, supply and install the speakers and amplification, and hand the outlet over ready for launch. We have done this for 1,019 Reliance Retail Outlets across 26 states and UTs since September 2019.
What Is the Difference Between Background Music and a PA System?
Background music is about atmosphere: low-level, even sound that suits your brand. A PA (public address) system is about announcements that must be heard clearly. Both use ceiling or wall speakers and amplifiers, and we can design one system that handles both, with the right volume in each area.
What Are Audio Zones and Why Do They Matter in a Restaurant?
A zone is an area with its own volume control. A dining area, a counter, outdoor seating and a back-of-house area do not need the same level. With zoning you can keep the dining room relaxed and still make announcements heard in a busy kitchen or at the counter.
Can You Roll Out the Same System Across Many Outlets?
Yes. For our Reliance Retail Outlets work we prepare a format-specific PA layout and bill of quantities for each outlet, manage the purchase order and dispatch, install, and hand over. Progress on every outlet is logged in our PA System Tracker, which we report to the client team.
Do You Work With McDonald's India?
Yes. We have recently done in-restaurant audio work for McDonald's India in Andheri, Thane, Panvel, Pune (Mundhwa) and Goa, with flush ceiling speakers spread across the dining area and rack-mounted amplifiers.
Can a Small Restaurant or Café Get a Simple System?
Yes. Not every space needs a large system. Our Bandra burger restaurant project uses four speakers and one Bluetooth amplifier for even coverage in the dining area. We size the system to your space.
Do You Install Video Walls and Digital Signage?
We can plan displays and video walls for retail and F&B spaces, including menu and promotional screens, and connect them with your audio and network. Tell us what you want to show and where, and we will advise what suits the space.
Can You Fix a Restaurant That Is Too Noisy or Echoey?
Often, yes. Hard surfaces such as brick, glass and tile make a room louder and harder to talk in. Acoustic treatment, together with well-placed speakers at lower volume, can make a room more comfortable. We are a Dealer for Vicoustic acoustic products and will tell you honestly what treatment can and cannot do for your room.
Can You Set Up Video Conferencing for Our Back Office?
Yes. We design and install conference rooms and boardrooms with Poly video conferencing and Crestron control, so head-office and regional teams can meet clearly. See our commercial AV page and our Parel boardroom project.
What About Wi-Fi and Network for Our Outlets?
We build business networks on Ubiquiti, including separate guest Wi-Fi so visitors never touch your main network, and support for cameras. We design the network together with the audio and AV so it all works as one system.
Do You Offer Maintenance After Installation?
Yes. We offer annual maintenance plans (AMC) for AV and network systems after handover, from the team that installed them.
Where Do You Work?
We have offices and Experience Centers in Navi Mumbai (Seawoods) and Bengaluru (Devanahalli). We work in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Bangalore, and across India, including multi-outlet rollouts. Our Reliance Retail Outlets work covers 26 states and UTs.
