Choosing the Right Home Theatre System
The right system depends on your room, how you watch and how much you want to disappear into the film. These are the questions we work through with every Bangalore homeowner.
5.1, 7.1 or Dolby Atmos
A 5.1 system uses five speakers and a subwoofer and suits small to medium rooms. A 7.1 system adds two more surround speakers for a wider sound. Dolby Atmos adds overhead speakers, so rain, helicopters and effects move above you as well as around you. For a dedicated room, Atmos is the one we recommend.
Soundbar or Full Speaker System
A soundbar is compact and simple, and works in a small apartment. A full speaker system gives you proper surround from several directions and in-wall or in-ceiling placement, but it needs planning before interiors are finished.
