A 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos Home Theatre in a Goa Villa
A dedicated private cinema with 11 Perlisten speakers and two subwoofers, a 205-inch acoustically transparent screen, an Epson 4K laser projector and Savant one-touch control.

Project Overview
This Goa villa has a dedicated home theatre designed around Dolby Atmos: a 7.2.4 speaker layout, a large acoustically transparent screen with the front speakers behind it, and a laser projector.
Beyond the theatre, the villa has 100-inch televisions with Bang & Olufsen soundbars and outdoor speakers around the swimming pools, all part of the same Avenue Sound installation.
The room is fully treated with bass traps, acoustic fabric walls and isolation pads, and operated through Savant: one press starts the system, closes the curtain and sets the lights. We calibrated the sound with REW and Dirac Live and the picture with CalMAN.

A Real Cinema, at Home
The front speakers sit behind an acoustically transparent screen, so voices come from the screen itself. Four Atmos speakers in the ceiling add height, and two subwoofers handle the bass.

The Villa and Pool
The theatre sits inside a large Goa villa set in open countryside, with a long swimming pool, shaded pergolas and generous outdoor seating. Good audio here means more than one room, so we planned the sound for the whole home.

Beyond the Theatre
The theatre is only part of this Goa villa. Avenue Sound also supplied 100-inch televisions, each paired with a Bang & Olufsen soundbar, so the living spaces get proper sound without a full surround system. Outdoor speakers were installed around the swimming pools, so music carries across the pool areas as well.

Photos show the villa's living spaces and equipment as installed.
