Project Overview

The owners of this Bandra apartment wanted a living room that works as an everyday lounge and becomes a cinema when the lights go down, with no projector or speakers on show.

Around that sits a Savant and KNX automation system for lighting, curtains, fans, geysers and AC, a Ubiquiti network and a security system with cameras, a video door phone and fingerprint locks. The system is supported under an annual maintenance contract.

Living Room

The living room is where the 120-inch screen and the projector lift live. In everyday use the room is a lounge, with six in-ceiling speakers and three subwoofers across the living room and living balcony.

Living Balcony

The living balcony is its own music zone, with two in-ceiling speakers and one in-ceiling subwoofer, and a keypad on the wall.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms have Ekinex Signum keypads, Ubiquiti WiFi 6 access points and TV points. Lighting, curtains and fans run from the same Savant and KNX control, and the master bedroom has a Sonos Arc soundbar with Dolby Atmos.
