Background
Spread across six levels, from a ground-floor lobby and meeting room to a fifth-floor spa,jacuzzi and gym, this Nagpur residence is home to a large multi-generational family, withprivate suites for each member. The scale of the house created a real challenge. Lighting,blinds, air conditioning, geysers, landscape lighting and gates on every floor had to worktogether as one system. The family also wanted a dedicated home cinema, music in almostevery room, biometric security on more than 30 doors, and a strong network across theentire building.

A home spread over six floors needed one platform to run all of it, and that platform is aSavant controller linked to a large KNX network. The system manages on/off and dimmedlighting from the ground floor to the fifth, 47 motorized roman blinds, landscape lighting,the main gates, and the geysers and exhaust fans in every suite. The air conditioning isintegrated through CoolMasterNet, and Ekinex brass-finish keypads and thermostatdisplays match the interiors throughout.
The dedicated media room is a true home cinema. An AudioControl Concert XR4 withDolby Atmos and Dirac Live room calibration drives James Loudspeaker in-wall LCRs,surrounds and subwoofers. Vicoustic acoustic panels and diffusers treat the room so thesound is as clean as the picture.
Music reaches almost every corner of the house. More than 60 Gray Sound in-ceilingspeakers cover the living rooms, suites, walk-in wardrobes, bathrooms, pooja room andspa, with S80 subwoofers in the main living spaces, all managed by an AudioControlmatrix amplifier. NEAR outdoor speakers extend music to the terraces, and dedicatedaudio zones cover the gym and jacuzzi. The ground-floor meeting room has a Poly Studioconferencing system, and motorized TV lifts keep screens hidden until they are needed.
Ekey fingerprint access secures more than 30 doors and walk-in wardrobes. A DoorBird IPdoor station and UniFi cameras protect the perimeter. A fiber-backed Ubiquiti networkprovides fast WiFi on every floor, and SurgeX protection with OvrC remote monitoringkeeps the whole system running reliably.
