Background
The 24th floor of this residence at Silver Arch, Mumbai, was planned as the family's entertainment level, with a terrace, party area, dining room, lounge and gym, all with sweeping city views. The homeowners wanted a place where they could host guests in style, with a big-screen cinema that appears only when needed and music across every indoor and outdoor space. Just as important was peace of mind: strong WiFi across the floor, complete camera coverage, and a smart video door entry at the lift lobby, all built to blend into the interiors.

Solutions
The party area turns into a cinema at the touch of a button. An Epson 4K ultra short throw projector rises from a custom motorized drawer, and a 120" Screen Innovations motorized screen drops into place in front of it, creating a picture of up to 150" without a visible projector in the room. James Small Aperture in-ceiling speakers, with grilles just 3" wide, deliver clear sound while almost vanishing into the ceiling. Two Gray Sound S80 in-ceiling subwoofers add deep bass without taking any floor space.Music follows the family and their guests across the floor. James speakers continue into the dining room and lounge, and Gray Sound C50 Pro speakers cover an additional zone. Out on the terrace, a NEAR Nearscapes outdoor system with its own DSP amplifier provides weather-ready sound. Every zone is powered by an AudioControl M4800D Dante matrix amplifier and streamed from a Savant music server, with an Apple TV 4K as the main video source.WiFi 6 access points in the terrace, party area, dining room and lounge keep every guest connected, supported by Ubiquiti PoE switches and a gigabit router in an AC Infinity-cooled rack. Security is handled by a UniFi camera network covering the kitchen, staircase, gym, service areas and lift lobby, including a 360° AI camera and a high-resolution dome camera. At the entrance, a flush-mount DoorBird video door station in a white finish is paired with a DoorBird indoor monitor, so the family always knows who is at the door.
